What a wierd place. But then again, it is in Utah. It looks like a pumped up IHOP with big screens. Really wierd. Service sucked, food was just "ok", prices were VERY high for a place like this. Do not go unless nothing else is around.

Iggy's is a five star sports bar that serves two star food. There simply is no place better in the valley to watch sports on a big screen TV. Iggy's is clean, spacious, classy, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Unfortunately, the food is mostly mediocre, sometimes horrible, and rarely exceptional. I've watched enough games here that I've sampled a nice chunk of their menu. The burgers are only decent. The fries are below average, and they usually come out cold. The lasagna has too much cheese. The Cobb salad is plentiful and tasty. I enjoy their wings, despite being fried in a batter, which I usually dislike. The ribs are adequate, and the nachos are above average. The Cajun Pasta is rich and satisfying, but their sandwiches are uniformly disappointing. Whatever you do, DO NOT order the Philly Cheesesteak. This thing is an abomination. The "steak" is simply deli cut roast beef, the kind that's prepackaged in those ziploc bags and emit a kind of green neon color when the light hits it just right. And it's served with cheddar cheese (what?) on a soggy bun. Honestly, it's really, really bad. Lastly, Iggy's is extremely skimpy with their cocktails. The amount of liquor they serve is what is usually left at the bottom of my glass when I'm done with my drink. Two sips and you're out six bucks. Pathetic. I'll still go to Iggy's for the big game. I'll just take my flask.

Get your fill of Americana! Burgers, Beer, and Sports...Argh, Grunt Argh! We love the beer fries, and drenching them in that spicy orange pepper oil. Super Yum! Burgers are hit and miss, but we have favorites. I always love the Manhattan (Pastrami), and the Blue Cheese Burgers. Ummm, hmmm! Sometimes the noise of the evening game can be a bit loud (well we were there the night of the Stanley Cup Final), but they turned it down after the game was over so that was nice. There's always plenty of free underground parking, which is good being that it's in downtown.

Great service but typical sports bar chain type food. If you want to watch a football game though it would be great as they have several well placed huge screen tvs. Nothing special. I am from out of town so was surprised to see a place like this in SLC. I might go back but wouldn't make a special effort.

Chicken Balls...no really...they're good for a laugh and for a mouthfull of fun. Wait. Am I allowed to say that in SLC? The bar would be good for a game and the food is pretty good for a sports bar. The decor is a little confusing, but most football seeking folk shouldn't care much about the decor. It is what it is.

It takes me 10 minutes to walk there from my apartment, I can watch the Chiefs on Sunday and they have Mountain Dew. I'm a simple man, and that's all I need. The food is decent, the service is decent and they'll sit you so you can watch whichever game you're there to look at.

We were looking for a place to watch the game and this place came highly recommended by a bunch of locals. They especially recommended the jumbo hot wings. These were some of the meatiest wings I've ever had. Then wings came with the hot sauce on the side. I would have preferred that they sauced the wings in the kitchen. Overall, pretty good though. Since we were in a sports bar and it was supposedly what they were good at, I decided to try one of their so called award winning burgers. After moments of intense deliberation, I decided to go with the Baja burger. It comes topped with canadian bacon, grilled green chilies, pepper jack cheese, and dijon mustard. It was a pretty good burger, but the canadian bacon through me a little. I didn't really like it as much as I thought I would. Had it been regular bacon, I think the burger would have been great. But that's just me. Now onto the sports bar atmosphere. I would have to say that this place has more of a restaurant feel than a sports bar. They do have three big screens mounted on the center bar that you can pretty much see these from anywhere in the main part of the restaurant. Final Assessment - This place is a restaurant first and a sports bar second. Come here for the food, not the sports bar.

Big TVs, Good beers, Good food, good price, and fine services (not great). However, we had some problems on getting a table one night due to many Jet's fans there early (Jets vs Pats 12/06). They lost by the way. Iggy (don't know why) has a big huge "Waiting" Table in front of the TV which for the people who is waiting for a table to be seated. My friend had a big arguemnet why we could not sit there. Over all, it is good and fun place to hang out.

Iggy's has multiple personality disorder. Let's do an analysis to see what treatment to recommend. Personality #1--BAR. To quote David Byrne, "This ain't no Mudd Club." The bar component of Iggy's will NOT satisfy anyone looking for a place to hang out and drink, meet people, or get rowdy. It is way too family friendly for any of that. Iggy's fails as a bar--0 stars. Personality #2--SPORTS BAR. Sports bar is a squishy term. You can take a shit-hole and add lots of TV's and helmets and it is magically a sports bar. Iggy's actually does NOT have too much sports theme to it. The biggest sports component here is the massive TV setup in the middle. Every seat in the place has a view of the altar! I'm not so sure about what you would do when there are multiple games occurring, but if you want to watch one game only then Iggy's will suffice. Hardcore sports nuts will go somewhere else. Iggy's gets 2 stars as a sports bar. Personality #3--RESTAURANT. Another reviewer likened their food to Cheesecake Factory. That's kinda close. The menu is too big. I don't get why places like this insist on offering 150 choices for dinner. Pick 10 things and do them well. The reason they offer so many choices? They don't care about nailing anything. Their goal is for everyone in your party to be reasonably satisfied. They aren't trying to win food awards (and they won't). Iggy's food will suck you in because it's designed to appeal to lazy tastes--too sweet, too salty, too fried. I found myself sopping up shitty bread just so I could get the sweet/spicy sauce in my face. Everything else on the menu is the same--too large portions, over garnished, and processed tasting. Iggy's gets 2 stars for food simply because it's typical suburban fare. Personality #4--FAMILY FUN HOLE. This is the truth about Iggy's. Now we get to what it actually is--a family restaurant that has giant televisions. The tables and booths are huge (to support the hordes). The portions are huge (to satisfy the hordes). For shame--they serve alcohol! Well, again, they are trying to keep everyone happy. Need a place to drag the family unit for dinner...but you secretly would rather watch the game...then drag everyone to Iggy's! You can have a beer or two to drown out the ennui that is seeping from your life. Make sure to enjoy the dipping sauce too!

Went with a large group of work friends. Was good to have table for all of us. Appetizer plate (the Tin Lid served on a garbage can lid??) was okay but nothing great. I had the "drunken fish tacos". Not bad, but a little too spicy which wasn't apparent on the menu. Microbrew crimson ale was good. Service was good, but we didnt feel too special. A couple of the guys went to the bar a couple nights prior and they wouldn't serve them unless they ordered food. Capstone was when we left some guy was puking in the men's room.

Iggy's was a decent sports bar that has become a hotel bar. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that, but it does lead to a weird atmosphere. The furnishings remind me of a casual restaurant trying to have a "Casablanca" like feel to them, but then hang sports stuff on the wall to make a sports bar out of the place. The food varies. I've enjoyed their baby back ribs and Philly sandwich, but I wouldn't rave about it. In general, if you're in the area and don't feel like dealing with crowds, Iggy's is good. If you want better grub, walk a few blocks East but be prepared to wait.

Have to say I was pretty disappointed with this place. After seeing billboards plastered all around I was a little excited to try it. Hate to say it came up a little short. First off the atmosphere was alright for a "sports bar." There are defintely better places that define that. The service was pretty good, though it was the early lunch hour, but the food was not all that. I had the prime rib sandwich and the meat was so bland. It looked and tasted like a processed piece of beef that was slapped on the skillet after I ordered it. Maybe I should have stuck with a burger. The fries are the only thing that saved that meal and even those.... (((sigh))) Just not the greatest "sports bar" that SLC has to offer. I mighttt try it again next time in SLC.

This place is 5 stars. 5 stars service, 5 stars food, 5 stars TVs to watch NBA games. Me and my girl friend came Friday afternoon to watch Heat- Pacers game. The guy who was our server was super nice. Those chicken balls are yummy and the bread is always fresh that is served with Iggy's sauce . It's been our second time and every time we have good times and the atmosphere is fantastic.

We were shocked by how nice Iggy's was, not a dive bar at all. The sportscenter was a bit loud but easily overcome by the comfy booths. Microbrew was great, fry sauce was also great. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak (not worth it) and the Godfather which was very good. Great choice for downtown Salt Lake.

After wandering around the Saturday market, I was sweltering hot and needed a break from the heat, so I walked across the street and tried Iggy's. I've been hearing about this new location since it opened a short while ago, so decided to try it, and I phoned my bff who lives a few blocks away downtown, and she joined me. I had the 1/2 sandwich Philly Cheesesteak, with onion rings and a giant refillable fresh lime rickey. They start you with a loaf of soft bread with clear sweet red chili dipping sauce (mmm!). My friend had a small salad and an order of teriyaki potstickers. I love the ambience there - easy access downtown, with Bonus free parking, large space with lots of comfy private booths, nice lighting, amazing huge plasma screens all over and friendly servers, its a great spot. Trust me, I'm not a sports fanatic, but I'd heard this was fun. Lucky for us, the sports TVs were on, but the sound turned way down. The Philly and rings were kinda just ok, but the teriyaki potstickers were the winner - they were excellent. but there was a LOT of things I wanted to come back for, its a big menu. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves, talking and catching up, and no one rushed us, and we were there for hours. Excellent service. The comfortable feeling in here and great servers will make me return - I really liked this place.

Iggy's is a sports bar without the bar atmosphere. If I want to go watch a Jazz or Utes game but have my underage friends in tow, this is pretty much the only place I consider. Iggy's has a huge menu, which always makes it hard for me to decide what to get! The burgers are my favorite, but their pastas are pretty great as well. The seating is great and you always have a good view of the TV's. The whole restaurant just feels comfortable, I hate going to sports bars only to be crammed into a miniature booth and have to listen to loud mouth drunk-asses right next to me. I think the waiting staff could use some etiquette updates on how to treat their diners when there is a game on. They are quick to ask you if you want your check once the plates are cleared, but I came to watch the game and I intend to stay til I'm done. However, I can understand how the waiters must feel considering how a lot of people in Utah tip. If you intend to stay through an entire game and keep ordering food, tip generously! Great job for Iggy's, love this place.

Huge portions! I ordered a half portion of the Chinese chicken salad and could only finish half of it. I don't even want to know what the full size salad looks like. It was tasty and the chicken was cooked right. I know it's a sports bar, but they definitely could add a few better wines to the menu..they had two cabs on the menu and one of 'em was Yellowtail...need I say more about that? Service was pretty standard and giant TV's for sports. I was there for a quick work dinner but, if I lived in SLC, I would probably go back for some football and nachos occasionally

We went to this place before going to the Jazz game last week after we read the reviews on Yelp. They had this special of soup or salad, one of 5 entrees, and dessert for $9.99 on game night so we tried that special. what a mistake!!! First, we waited about 20 min before our order was taken, and then another 30 min before our food came. I wasa timing it because we had to go to the game. Our side orders came first -French fries and frozen recooked carrots/broccoli - then our soup or salad came next, and then our entrees came with more sides on the same plate.! The steak was as hard as a rock and overcooked. The bill finally came and we asked about our dessert and the waitress looked flustered and took our bill back to add dessert. That came out 15 min later. Then our bill came back and they had charged every dish individually so instead of $9.99 for the 3 course, we were suppose to pay about $16!!! We spent about another 20 min going over the bill with the waitress who didn't understand the problem, then I demanded to talk to the manager and he explained that this was how the computer charged everything. He saw the problem and then tried to correct it but couldn't figure it out either and then just gave us a discount on the bill that worked out to be the correct charge. Needless to say, we were there about 2 hours and late to the game. We will never go back try there again. Service horrible and food was nothing special.

Never coming here again! Been there 3 times and each time it's the same bad service. I didn't want to play the race card but I did feel like we weren't treated as well as other customers each time I went there. Yes we were the only colored people there. I watched our waiter serve other customers that came in long after us. He never refilled my cup of water once. I would ask him then he would leave to serve others while I'm sitting there dying of thirst! lol well not really but the place would be a 2 star if the service wasn't so horrible!

Ok food but NOT a sports bar. Lots if lights and doilies. The layout is sort of weird for a sports bar - there are a bunch of booths and tables surrounding the central bar, but they're somehow not the focal point. But the food wasn't as good as the price would have indicated and, during three months of football season with no TV at home, I only came here the one time. There were just far better options in SLC.

This place doesn't know what it wants to be but somehow it works. The best way to describe it is 'Cheesecake Factory with big ass TVs in the bar'. Except for a few tasteful sports related arty items, the theme of this place would be 'whatever is showing on the big ass TVs.' This is clearly a sports restaurant and bar that was conceived by people who don't really care that much about sports one way or the other. The place lacks commitment. However, the TVs are great and they do have a unique thing where you can get a speaker that will give you the sound portion of the channel you are interested in. So it's an odd feel here but somehow, they pull it off. And just when I thought I figured out the bizarre liquor laws here, there's a new twist. I can take 'we disapprove of liquor, go back to the United States'. I can even take 'this is a private club. Give us $5 to be a member for the evening.' But 'we're licensed as a restaurant so you have to buy food to buy a beer' seemed random. It strains credibility. Utah, if you disapprove of drinking, have the guts to disapprove. The strategy of wanting the money so badly that you're willing to take it but look down your nose, well, it lacks commitment.

Staying next door I finally decided to stop in after a walk around the area. Out front they have a gas fire pit that is rather high off the ground with a brick surround and looks out of place, for a few minutes I thought someone had set a public trash can on fire. At first glance this looks like a nice restaurant without a bar and super HUGE TV screens in the center. Come to find out that the bar is slightly sunken from the main entrance and sits in the center below these HUGE screens. This makes sitting at the bar and watching the game difficult. If your sitting anywhere else in the establishment this is a nice feature. A small flat panel is available on the sides of the bar that are easier to view but may not be showing the game you want to watch (providing variety). Don't expect a super casual, rowdy sports bar type atmosphere, but it also definitely isn't "stuffy/snooty" either. The beer and liquor selection are modest but they offer the basics and some local favorites.

I know this is a sports bar, but I was not here for sports. I was just starving and in a serious need for food, and this happened to be the closest spot. I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia and Spicy Shrimp Tacos. The Tilapia was great, the Shrimp Tacos were slightly above average. Both were simple, but had just enough flavor, and it was just what I needed. I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. It's not quite 4 stars and in all honesty the food was more like 3 stars than 4 stars, but our waitress was great, the food was good, it came out just in time, and it was superbly clean, and overall I'd come back if I'm ever in the area.

It's okay. Typical bar food. I was only looking to grab a small bite to eat, but all the portions seemed large. Ended with the Half BLT and Half Salad. It was okay.

Pleasantly surprised after experiencing the epic fail of the Sandy Iggy's. Came for $2.50 draft Tuesday, which is everything but Guinness. Including their delicious blueberry beer. That has to be one of my favorite beers, up there with shock top and blue moon. If you like either of those, you'll enjoy their blueberry beer. And you can't beat $2.50. Although it is a Tuesday night so if you're one of those people........ Which I was this night....... Food is eh I actually didn't order anything but did try the bread with weird sweet and sour sauce and their chips and salsa. Bread is nothing special, at least it's soft but the sauce is just weird. Reminds me of sweet thai chili sauce I eat with egg rolls. Chips and salsa are bottomless supposedly, the chips are bland at best and the salsa is ok. Bathroom was surprisingly clean, like really clean. I was impressed. The service was excellent this time, our waitress was a young college age looking girl who was very attentive and courteous. I'll probably be back once in a while for their blueberry beer.

I was looking for a bar to enjoy Monday night football. I actually went into one establishment down the street in the Gateway Center, Bout Time, but I could tell it was kinda lame. Glad I punted, Iggy's was fun! Surprisingly, they did not have any drink specials, but they certainly cater to the the M'NF crowd. There was a lot of people in attendance, and at halftime they have a raffle where they gave away helmets, and other NFL 'stuff.' The bar has plenty of televisions, flat screens and projector screens, with good sound. What made this place great was the general ambiance, it reminded me of The Elephant Bar locations in CA, if that means anything to you? Very chill, with a subtle touch of class, open air, with tall ceilings. The food was EXCELLENT, my burger was a monster, I had the Black & Bleu which filled me through the next morning. The fries were tasty and it also came with a crisp pickle, which is always a good compliment to a burger. Actually, it might have been a combination of beers and food that filled me, they have a g-o-o-d selection of beers. I liked the Squatter's IPA, and was talked into the MG Bluesberry, which was surprisingly tasty, although flavored, it was a subtle top note, and it went down really easy. This place will satisfy any burger loving, beer swilling sports fan, which on this particular night was football. Cheers to the Broncos who crushed the Raiders.

Ordered a calzone not fully cooked. My buddy got the jalapeño burger...guess what....no jalapeños...it did have a big green chili on it....my other buddy ordered a Philly no onions...guess what again....yup onions...waiter was nice and took off the calzone from the bill but still....i was very let down. Normally very good service but I have notice a decline in food quality and service the past few years.

Went here last night with the wife and a few neighbor friends, we live right around the corner. We were hungry and it was too late to go most anywhere else as it was 9:45pm. I looked them up and saw they were open until 11 so we went for it. There were 5 of us, we decided to just sit at the bar and keep it casual. Eyes rolled from most of the staff as we walked in, they were bummed. Acting like we were rolling in at 5mins to close or something and treating us like "that guy". We were confused considering they were still open for well over an hour. They clearly wanted to get out of there and we're not nice about us burdening them. When we finally got the bartender's attention he was all attitude and annoyed when we asked for suggestions. I don't remember his name, he was a rather buff fellow. Anytime we asked for anything it was still all attitude, he would get us what we wanted but not without some heavy vibes. It was seriously unbelievable, I couldn't believe we were being treated like that at a chain restaurant... The guy really needs to get over himself and lay off the protein shakes or something. The only reason it's getting 2 stars is because of the food, it's pretty decent. Standard chain quality but good nonetheless. I may return mainly due to convenience and proximity but will probably do takeout. If I wanna get vibed by jocks I'll go to Gracie's.

One of the few places that open past 10 pm. Usual bar menu. Variety types of lemonade. I tried the mango lemonade and it was delicious. They didn't have any more pork belly corndog. oh wells... Next time.

My boyfriend and I went there last night at about 9:30 after working Fan X and wanted some nachos. After getting seated, we waited for about 15 minutes before a manager noticed us and ask our drink order. This place was not busy at all, I counted 4 other tables with customers. Since we waited so long, I ordered the nachos with beef right away with our drink order because I didn't know when we would see anybody again. The manager was apologetic and helpful, but our server didn't even say sorry for our long wait. Our nachos ended up being with pork and not beef. And they also were crazy spicy. Don't get me wrong, I love spicy stuff, but I could not taste anything else but fire from these nachos. I was so disappointed in these nachos. (A sentence I never knew existed.) I almost gave a second star for the helpful manager, Josh(?). But then I got crappy pork nachos.

Decent food and friendly service. The place has that Applebee's feel to it, but it's much cleaner, and unlike Applebee's they'll actually cook your burger less than well done. I ordered a medium western burger (bacon and BBQ sauce) and it came out medium. They also have a huge flat screen (maybe 80 or 90 inches). Good for football games. While I was there, they were doing a raffle for a Washington Redskins helmet (the Skins were playing that night so I'm guessing that's why). Anyway, it was pretty cool that they were giving away that kind of a prize. Those helmets go for $200+. Separately I noticed a customer had placed a fake out order that was taking a while. The manager at one point approached her and apologized, offering her a discount of some type. Pretty nice.

Iggy's is a chain, sports bar type of spot. This is a great place to go for some wings, nachos and beers before you go watch the Jazz lose a basketball game (sorry). It sort of has a Chili's / Applebee's vibe to it, but I would say that it is a step above in terms of food and service. My warning to you is that they have dozens of TVs going with sports playing and the volume is really loud. Like sitting a home theater system on your face loud. However, if you came here expecting a romantic candle lit dinner, you are not very smart and deserve to be disappointed. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly at the bar and gave my food and drink order. The food and drinks came quickly. I ordered a chicken sandwich with a couple of modifications and everything came out exactly as ordered. The bartender was friendly and attentive, but wasn't hovering. Is this place mind-bendingly good? No, but they do a good job at the basic sports bar thing, so set your expectations accordingly and you should have a good time.

We went to Iggy's to watch the Utes football game a couple of weeks ago. BIG MISTAKE! Their TV's are horrible! They are ginormous, but they are not HD and are weird projection screens that are so blurry we literally couldn't see the football in flight. I thought maybe we had a bad angle, so I scouted several different locations, but the problem persisted from every spot in the place. Iggy's gets 1 star as a sports-watching venue. We've been to Iggy's a couple dozen times, but this was our first visit in about two years. We were reminded WHY we no longer visit this place. Not that it's horrible, but there are much better places for the same price. Our server started out with a terrible attitude, but really rebounded nicely after we started mirroring his "who-gives-a-crap" style. By the end of our visit, he was awesome, so no real complaints about service. The food is mediocre at best. We had Jack Daniel's meatloaf and a chicken wrap. The meatloaf would've been decent, but it was slathered in a 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and a 1/2 gallon of sugary sweet bbq sauce. I scraped off what I could and the meatloaf itself was okay, but not great. The wrap, fries and mashed potatoes were also good, but nothing special. They have a pretty decent beer selection and the prices aren't bad. There are just too many places in this area that are much better than Iggy's.

Oh, Iggy's...I wanted to love you. Another SLC joint that was hyped up for this Southern Girl. I heard something about a sports bar and came into something completely different with a few tvs and a bunch of business men pretending to like football/soccer/whatever you'd like (FIFA was on). We had Amber as a server and she was amazing/nice/fast on the service. The hostess weirded me out. Let the short blonde with the high pitched voice know that if you look like an uncomfortable T-rex in heels, just wear flats to work. For the love of god, her poor body looks pained as she walked back and forth through the restaurant and you could hear her clicking about the whole time! The drinks were good, but the food was so meh and lackluster. My husband had some sort of sandwich that he didn't really eat and I had some chicken. Whatever they fry their fries in needed to get upgraded as they were greasy and tasted like straight up beer. I was just really disappointed because I was told Iggy's was the place to go, but at least the service was awesome.

Just moved to SLC last month and wanted to watch the Sunday night ESPN game (Wisconsin v. Arizona State). Went to Iggy's since it was called a "sports bar" and was incredibly disappointed. They refused to put the game on, saying that since Utah was playing that had to be on all tv's - even though we could clearly see ESPN 2 on one of the televisions at the bar (not the Utah game). Needless to say, we walked right out of a business that was clearly not interested in OUR business. Headed over to Legends, where they put the game on one of their big tv's, checked on us regularly, and we met some fellow Wisconsin Badgers to boot. Considering Iggy's location (near a lot of convention hotels) they might want to consider that people want to watch a variety of games in addition to local ones. I'll never give them my business.

Someone on this wrote that Iggy's is a 5 star sports bar that serves 2 star food, which is a pretty decent assessment of it in the old days, back when it was over by Brewvie's. Since they have decided to open a slew of identical places sporadically placed throughout the I-15 corridor and have swung it considerably more towards the restaurant end rather than the sports bar end, they have considerably degraded what was their prime attraction and that was a relatively clean place with piles of tvs. The city caught up to them, though and there are places that have those tons of tvs and have much better food. Iggy's is largely resting on their reputation (they did have decent wings -- haven't had those in a while) and their fierce advertising strategy while woefully neglecting nearly everything else. These days, it's not just enough to have a stack of local brews on draft. Sure, mostly everyone is coming to watch the game, but I've repeatedly had better service at actual bars. The wait staff ranges from inept to ridiculously overwhelmed and not much in between. The food here is mostly nonsense. Aside from appetizers, they do very little well and nearly everything is a step down not only from anywhere else but from your own kitchen. The idea that I'm going to go out and pay more for inferior food is a non-started and if it weren't for certain friends who find this place convenient at which to watch games, I'd probably never set foot in one again.

Came for a ski trip from North Carolina and wanted to find a place to watch Duke-UNC. First the positives: clean, open and airy and large TVs over the bar. Some food was good. Chicken soup was excellent and appetizers were pretty good. Unfortunately the big item food quality was disappointing and the service was horrible. Ordered steak medium rare and received a tough black well-OVER-done piece of leather. Terrible. But the service was the real problem. First, since we had one underage person in our group they gave us a seat where only two of our party could see the screen. Then they sat a party of sixteen directly in front of us which occupied the wait staff totally. After that it took way too long to get beers served. We had two of our appetizers finished before the first beer even came. Then getting a refill was like pulling teeth. This is not a "Utah" thing. We have had no problem getting served promptly at other SLC restaurants, but this one apparently didn't want to serve us. When I tried to order at the bar I was informed this is illegal in Utah. Very odd and frustrating experience.

Jenny M. from Berkeley said, "As a Californian, I would say this place reminded me the most of places like BJ's, except cheaper." Amazingly, I said the same thing about BJ's to one of the servers tonight while I was waiting for my to-go dinner order. I've stayed at this Homewood a handful of times over the last few years, and have never eaten at Iggy's, which is in the same building as the hotel, but with a seperate, exterior street entrance. I should add that I spoke with the hostess, one of the servers and the bar tender that took my to-go order. From a customer service point of view, I liked the friendly vibe. I ordered the half-rack of BBQ ribs, their Napoleano pizza from their brick oven, and their bread pudding dessert. The ribs were edible, but not true smoked BBQ; more oven braised, and for me a bit salty. The pizza and bread pudding were the hits for the evening. From what I saw, their burgers and salads and pastas might be decent to good too. However, I think a fair comment to make about their food is that it's a fair attempt at Cheesecake Factory's faire, but it's really the interior design, customer service and sports bar TV setups that makes this location a destination. There are multiple locations for Iggy's in SLC, but from what the server told me, this location is unique, and a bit different in physical layout from their other units. Personally, I very much like the layout and ambiance. And as Jenny said... it's very much like the BJ's Restaurants we have in South Orange County, CA. I'd guess that if you're there to watch a sporting event, you'll have no problem making this one of your "go to" places.

Went there the other day, got asked my ID checked 4 times. I get checking it once but after the fourth I was basically being harassed by the employees and manager. Ruined the entire experience. The food and drinks are usually awesome when they actually serve it to you.

Great place! Portions are HUGE, food is pretty good, servers are super friendly, and the environment is like a big, classy sports bar. As a Californian, I would say this place reminded me the most of places like BJ's, except cheaper. I came here twice for dinner with the family, and both times, I got different sandwiches. The first one was the Vinnie, which was HUMUNGOUS, but nothing super special - still good though! The second one was The Godfather, with pastrami and roast beef. They give you a TON of meat, but this sandwich was definitely smaller than the Vinnie. Regardless, you are GUARANTEED to be full after you're done eating! The fries are delicious - they're seasoned and taste like curly fries but they're regular fries. I couldn't get enough!

Yet again fantastic. SWMBO and I are always looking for great restaurants with terrific servers and good food. FOUND IT! Iggy's has delicious food and great people. So good, SWMBO doubled our check as a tip. Can't say enough good stuff.

Iggy's is a supreme disappointment! 7 of us guys walked in hungry on a Sunday morning, we chose Iggy's due to it being a sports grill as we were hungry and far far from home but since one in our group was 19 Iggy's seemed a great choice but upon arriving our team was not playing and when asked they refused to put our game on. Mind you there were ONLY 7 other patrons in the entire joint. We were at least a $200 tab plus tip and Iggy's flat out let us walk!!!! Horrible business practices.

If all you take to Iggy's are your eyes and your ears. you're going to have a great time. But leave your tastebuds at home. Also, your drinking appetite if you're not a beer drinker. This is a fine place to watch a ballgame. Many huge big screen TVs, and the added advantage of at-your-table sound boxes if you want one. I like hearing what Cris Collingsworth has to say, so the portable sound box is a Godsend. However.... This place pours the skimpiest martinis since Dreyfus was exiled to the Devil's Island. Come on, guys. We're here for a whole three hour game. Pour more generously. Beer is copious, though. Food? Meh all around. Sort of soggy nachos. Meatloaf spotty. Sometimes very good, sometimes not so good. Fish and chips nothing to write home about. Signature dish? i couldn't say. Eat before coming here, drink beer, and you'll do okay. J E T S jets Jets JETS!

Nothing to write home about. Average run of the mill sports bar and restaurant. I've heard from multiple co-workers that the ribs and meatloaf are the items to order. I went boring and had a grilled chicken sandwich what with watching my girlier figure and all, haha. Sandiwch was good. Good service.

Been here several times. The food portions are big, service is top notch, beer selection is ok.

Ordered the Bistro Scampi Pasta. It was pretty bland. Shrimps were small and not something I would try again. Also had a beer that might as well been a non-alcoholic beverage but this is Utah and god forbid you get a buzz off your beer ( their god not my god).
